Skimming the rim of the Arctic Circle, you sail onward through the halls of Heaven and into the deepest Icelandic fjord to find Akureyri; a buzzing whalewatching outpost also renowned for Go.afoss and Icelandic horses, which are the purest breed in the world.

Leaving behind huffing volcanos and exploding geysers, you venture southward to Skagen then disembark in Copenhagen to linger in its achingly cool design and historic palaces.
